Mixed media installation;
Individually invited to show at the atelier of the deceased artist Yehel Shemi - a pioneer modernist Israeli artist - we chose to work as one for this show.
Incorporating our past artworks, raw materials, Shemi’s artworks from the foundation’s collection, and his studio equipment - we extended Shemi’s modernist ethos with a responsive layer, as a dream grown from within.
Belzer and I did not label the works or divide credit between us. It was important for us to present the installation for what it was: the fruit of mutual thought, intention and toil.
